Michael Drouin

Principal of Fuller Meadow School

Dear Fuller Meadow School Community,

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Fuller Meadow School. I am honored to join a school community dedicated to nurturing the growth and success of our youngest learners, from kindergarten through second grade. With approximately 250 students, Fuller Meadow is a place where every child is known, valued, and supported.

I bring to this role 28 years of experience in education, having served in various capacities that have helped shape my belief in the power of strong school communities, inclusive learning environments, and innovative instruction. What drew me to Fuller Meadow is the school's commitment to fostering collaboration between faculty, staff, and families—a partnership that ensures our students receive a positive and enriching educational experience.

Our district has clearly defined priorities that guide our work and reflect what matters most in our schools:

  • Inclusive Practices and Co-Teaching – ensuring that all students, regardless of background or ability, feel welcomed and supported in their learning environment.

  • Social and Emotional Learning – helping students develop the skills needed to navigate relationships, manage emotions, and make responsible decisions.

  • Innovative Teaching Practices and Project-Based Learning – engaging students in meaningful, hands-on learning that fosters creativity, problem-solving, and real-world connections.

At Fuller Meadow, these priorities are not just goals—they are lived experiences that shape how we teach, learn, and grow together. I am excited to work alongside our talented staff and dedicated families as we continue this important work.

Thank you for the warm welcome I’ve already received. I look forward to getting to know each of you and building strong, collaborative relationships that will support our students’ success.

Best,

Michael Drouin, Principal
